Essential Tourist Information for Yoshino
Here are information that will help make your travel smooth in Yoshino and some points of caution to take note of!

Using the route bus is recommended for touring Mount Yoshino. There are lots of interesting places to see at each location such as historical sites and famous scenic spots.

The Yoshino Ōmine Cable connecting Senbonguchi Station and Yoshinoyama Station has been designated as a Mechanical Engineering Heritage being the oldest existing ropeway in Japan. You can enjoy the stunning view of Mount Yoshino from inside the cable car.

Cost of Meals
Prices vary depending on the restaurant, but on average, lunch in Yoshino Town range between 1,000-2,000 yen. Dinner on average is usually between 3,000-5,000 yen. Some shops in Yoshino Town do not accept credit cards, so we recommend that you take a fair amount of cash when you dine at a restaurant. It is not customary to pay tips in Japan, but there may be additional charges in the form of "appetizer fee" or "service charge" depending on the restaurant.
